I am a faculty in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Wake Forest University. Prior to joining the WFU family, I received my doctorate at Michigan State University and worked as a post-doctoral associate at Yale University. My research is focused on developing new methodologies in the area of Functional Data Analysis. I have applied these techniques in a variety of fields from genetics to climate science. I also have a deep interest in education and pedagogical techniques to make statistics more accessible to all students. In my personal time, I like to spend time with my pets, bake, cook, and travel.
